The Ministry of Youth has a promising partnership with associations and has achieved goals in the field of volunteering and fieldwork.

The partnership between the Algerian Association for Human Relations and Solidarity is a vibrant collaboration centered on numerous impactful projects, particularly the 2023 theme of volunteer work. This association has taken a commendable initiative to promote awareness about the invaluable role of the environment and vegetation, especially forest cover in Algeria. This vital resource has been increasingly threatened by rampant wildfires, largely driven by climate change and, regrettably, by destructive human actions.

In close coordination with the Ministry of Youth, the association strives to harness the energy and enthusiasm of young people for environmental service. In this spirit, they have organized a series of significant campaigns. One notable event was held for World Water Day on March 21, 2024, commencing from lively public squares adjacent to the Environment House in Boumerdes and the Youth House in Khmis El Khechna. This event featured tree-planting activities and engaging scientific presentations aimed at highlighting the critical importance of trees.

On July 1, 2024, under the esteemed patronage of the Minister of Youth and Sports, the association hosted an enlightening awareness day focused on the significance of social innovation, particularly in environmental protection. This event seamlessly transitioned into a tree-planting campaign around the community center in Tlaghma, Mila, from July 3 to 5, 2024. Additionally, the association celebrated International Volunteer Day at the community center in Tlaghma, with the active support and supervision of the Youth Directorate of Mila Province.

Through its dedicated provincial offices, the association has made remarkable strides across Boumerdes, Blida, Khanchla, Mila, and Batna, with Mila receiving special attention due to its partnership with the Hikma Cultural Association in Tlaghma. Together, they are fostering a culture of environmental stewardship and community engagement, inspiring future generations to cherish and protect their natural heritage.
